No. Striker, scored 15 goals for Crawley Div 2, this season. Trouble is a striker needs someone to create for them. That would be.......... Tomlin needed back asap.
Is he a target man, back to goal, run the channels? Sorry, dont know anything about him. Think I'd have preferred a RB to a striker.
He's 5ft 11 so not a huge guy. Assume he's there to run the channels and add energy. Hopefully he has some pace. His former chairman likened him t Ian Wright, apart from not being black, and said he could be a Prem player. We're trying to get a right back on loan from Villa Frederic Guilbert (he's French).
Here we go - not before time https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/s...nemouth-accept-cardiff-city-bid-jack-simpson/
My brother in law is a Cherries ST holder. I have asked him for his views. Mainly a centre back but can play right back but at 6ft 4ins not his preferred position. He says he's a good young player with Prem experience but needed to move on to play regularly. I think we still need a right back. Get Guilbert in asap.
Failed to get Sanderson back but seems the Ng pursuit is still ongoing. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/cardiff-city-bid-wolves-star-19641847
Hmm.....is that "club" City?................ https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/e...iff-city-target-is-set-to-make-transfer-move/
I guess so. Have not seen reports of any other clubs making bids. So having got Watters, and if Ng and Simpson sign, all 3 young and keen, do we consider this a good window? Still missing real creativity in midfield until Tomlin returns but if all 3 come on board this week that's business done relatively early, the squad will be a lot stronger and things can only improve further once Morrison, Tomlin and Tutu return. Perhaps Wilson will decide we have some ambition and show his ability again? Any others we expect to leave? Murphy and Cunningham maybe?
I was told City have been keen to ditch Murphy for ages, but have had no offer in past 3 windows. Can see that changing to at least 4.
Allegedly according to another site £350k has been accepted for Ng. Plus same source reckons we’re in for a winger. No news on CM ps What happened to the 1 in 1 out policy?
Another 6' 6" er..... https://the72.co.uk/215840/cardiff-city-and-qpr-targeting-move-for-scotland-international/ EDIT - just read this. Livingston chose not to renew Gallagher's contract in June 2015, after he and a co-defendant were convicted of assaulting their victim to his severe injury and danger of life at a hotel in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire on the evening of a wedding anniversary party in April 2013. In an attack described by the Sheriff as "brutal", Gallagher struck his victim to the head with a baseball bat or similar implement causing a fractured skull and was sentenced to three years in prison
Big centre halves are great if you expect the opposition to lump the ball into your box. However, more and more teams in this division are "playing football", which is when big lumps get found out. Again harks back to strategy and how we want to play the game.
