Harris was talking to the plumber who'd come to fix some of the showers. The conversation went like this:

I think we could get get fees of over 2m for Morrison and Moore.

Around a million for Ralls and Smithies.

Just short of a million for Nelson maybe Murphy.

The rest to move on frees or very small fees. In fact very small fees probably just Bacuna , Hoillet and Bennett.

Taking their time. If he comes I hope he is better than our other bargain basement strikers, Alex Revell and Eoin Doyle.

The danger is he may be a regular scorer at Creepy Crawley's level but not cut it in the Championship.

 

I think credit must be given to the board if this deal happens. He may be a diamond or paste but can he be any worse than Madine or Glatzel and who else is out there at a reasonable price?

One major factor that encourages me though I find it hard to admit it, is that Swansea wanted him - he must be half decent then.

 

I see those down west are interested in Hourihane of Villa. Decent player but on a decent wage no doubt.
Sort of CM with some flair which we’ve missed in the middle of the park for some time.

 

I thought the same Nin when I saw Villa were off loading him. Similar in ways to Tomlin who is likely to be out for another 3/4 weeks and then brought back carefully.

Hurts to say it but if the Jacks get him he will be a good addition.
