Pleeeeeease be true.......... https://www.footballinsider247.com/forest-sheff-weds-derby-county-want-murphy/
And whats the bets that if they ended up in the same team playing against us the commentary would go something like, "murphy picks up the ball out wide, goes past his marker, gets to the byline and pulls the ball back to Morrison. Morrisn takes a touch, shoots, GOAL........".
The Ravel part of that could happen but not the Murphy bit. He'd be on loan and couldn't play against us.
Latest on Simpson................... https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/19021341.tindall-gives-latest-simpson-transfer-situation/
Both Cherries and Simpson looking for better offers? Tindall lives a few doors from my niece. Shall I go and knock on his door and button hole him on the true position?
From what he's said, Bournemouth decision makers have accepted City's bid so I expect it's Simpson and his agent looking for an improved wage deal.
If it’s his agent blocking it, he’ll be touting him to other clubs as the next John Stones and hold out till deadline day
Great news. Hope he's available tomorrow. Those dreaded words "Subject to international clearance". Unlikely to be a problem but may delay his first appearance.
Going back to the subject of the Watters signing from Crawley, did anyone watch their 3-0 defeat of Leeds in the Cup? The guy that caught my eye for them (not Watters) was another one playing up front by the name of Tom Nichols. He seemed to have so much time on the ball and looked a class above the rest of them on the pitch. I remember thinking at the time that he could do a job for us before the Watters business broke. I see just now that Sunderland are looking to get him in.
I find it strange that Crawley are selling off their crown jewels while they are still in the cup. Just noticed that Watters wasn't in their starting 11 v Leeds. Came on as sub.
