    Have to think aswell that it is a great move for him, clubs like Arsenal don’t come along everyday. I’d be surprised if he wasn’t very keen on it

    Tbf I think we are just giving an honest reflection. Yes he has had good games for us and has looked decent of late. But more often than not his positioning is off and cannot cross for love nor money.

    If we were desperate for funds, then I could understand your argument. Why choose to raise £6m from selling Cedric when we could instead raise £15m from selling Vestegaard. More money raised, a lesser player sold, makes sense all round.

    But I'm not aware that we are in that position, and as such I see it as two different, and independent, situations.

    With Cedric, whether we like it or not he won't be here next season. So the club can either cash in now, or let him go for free in the summer. It's a choice for us to make. Selling him now could be thought of as the lesser of two evils.

    With Vestergaard, we're not actively looking to sell him and (rightly or wrongly) seemingly consider him as part of our squad for next season. But a club has made an offer for him. So another choice for us to make.

    I don't though see that the two choices interact with other. They play in different positions and are in different contract situations.

    Everton have apparently REJECTED a big of £85m for Richarlison from Barcelona.

    Have they lost their mind?!?!

    Cedric going on loan? Or did I read that wrong?

    Maybe Arsenal paying 5m loan fee because they don’t want to offer him a 2/3 year deal? And we get some sort of fee for a player leaving in the summer
