I belive so, with Ambrose? could be completely wrong.

It appears that He is behind Boyata and Ajer.

Injured his knee in August, hasn't made a first-team appearance since.

If he costs more than a couple million, we overpaid. Would be a rather bizarre move. Remarkably similar to the Caceres addition.

We're used to buying Celtics best players when they are ready to move to the PL. Not sure buying their bench warmers is really the way forward for us...

Hooiveld was a bench warmer for them. Was trash in the PL though, maybe we are already planning for next season

Incredibly defeatist by the club if we are buying players for the Championship now. We should be buying players to help pull us out of trouble.

I agree. Seems a bit of a weird transfer on the surface, but I have never seen him play so won't be writing him off just yet. I am assuming that he was first choice before his knee injury? I know Celtic are short of CBs and Ajer is more of a CM playing CB so seems slightly odd that they are happy to sell, unless we are paying a fair bit.

Assuming all this is true of course.

Jos did a job for us. Not sure even Cortese thought we would get promoted so soon....if we hadn't Jos would have stayed longer with us. Doubt the club is buying for the Championship....they would hope any player would do well for us now....however, I'm sure they have had a plan in place for years in case we are relegated....that's called being prepared. Any good business considers the bad case scenario.

Its now official!!!!! I must admit thats a very strange choice

I think he’s a good fit for them. They’ve never come across as a club that thinks it is above its station. Family run and stuck by managers for a few years, only making a change when things look really dire.

Fair play to them. I just hope that he takes a while to get his messages across.

Its strange in as much that even Pulis and Hughes had a higher profile than Lambert.

Is probably one of the reasons the club will not sack Pellegrino. No bloody manager wants to come here??
