Delofeu showed so much promise early on, but has stagnated and is now pretty average as people found him out. A good comparison would be Aaron Lennon, a solid enough player but hasn't lived up to how good he looked like he could be early on in his career.

I see a few of the crappy transfer websites on Newsnow are linking us to signing a centre back this window as well, some have mentioned Christopher Julien, I know they are full of **** but I am going to believe this one as he is very good.

Sort of agree but Keegan has been the only OMFG moment we’ve ever had. IMO obviously.
I agree up to a point, but surely a part of the Keegan euphoria was down to it being completely and utterly off the radar and unexpected? Nowadays every single transfer seems to be on the internet rumour mill for ages before it happens.

Thought Everton fans hated Schneid's these days. Probably move on in the summer

After the recent FA Cup derby, we were discussing ex-Southampton players in the pub, as there were so many on view. One armchair Evertonian made a derisory remark about Morgan. Another guy, season ticket holder, told him he was talking bollocks. He declared he was one of those players a) you need to see and b) you need to get football. As his critic qualified on neither count he was told he could **** off. The aforementioned st holder is built like a brick carsy so this pithy response closed off further discussion. Other proper Blues have said the same sort of thing about Morgan, so I wonder how much of the disliking of him stems from armchair pillocks. We heard the same from some of our "the best place to watch is on the telly" brigade.
