    Very much this. I agree he made some good signings for the long term, but they took until after his tenure to come into proper form - in other words once Bobby got hold of them they played their best football. His signings of some old 1980s Liverpool buddys of his and plenty of other hyped up names that came to nothing while we slumped from two consecutive 2nd places to 13th sum his time with us up neatly enough.

    He did alright for us, same with Pearce but they were only really short term signings. think Gullit should have given Pearce more of a chance. Didn't Dalglish sign Guivarch and Serrant.

    Nah quite like Liverpool. That was never a sending off, wasn't even a booking for me. Hibbert on the other hand, and a couple of others could all have been straight reds. Hibbert is one nasty bastard.
