Rooney broke a 50 year old record to become England's highest goal scorer & didn't get included, so JV wasn't likely to get the nod. Team award, probably the Women's England team or the cricketers. Would love it to be us, but it won't be. There will be a load of rubbish, random nominations this year, as I'm going.
I'm not saying we would win but depending how many nominations there are for the category I think we'd be worth one for gaining more points than Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea and the rest for such a large part of the year
Here is a good interview with Vardy http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/dec/04/jamie-vardy-leicester-city-interview I am very interested to know what Raneiri's nickname for him is though
... Rooney may have broken a 50 year old record. ... but if scoring a penalty against San Marino is enough to get you SPOTY then I'm in with a chance for winning the the Foxes in exile tiddlywinks cup ..

Can't see that happening, 90k a week! i know we want to be paying europa league wages, but come on, lets not get ahead of ourselves.
I can see us discussing a new contract & a wage increase but I'd take the rest of it with a lorry of salt, it's a story in the star. They're not really renowned for accuracy.
