I think you'll find it was Diakite that scored the winner against the Arse, but it was Mackie who laid it on for him.
i've always loved Jamie (in a non-gay way ) - his energy and enthusiasm should be a real inspiration to all youngsters starting out in the game I get the feeling that he still can't believe that he's playing in the Premier League with the mighty Rs
Couldn't agree more with most of the comments already in this thread. Whilst he does lack technical ability at times, you simply cannot fault his passion and work rate. A great role model for young footballers as well, there's far too many prima donna's around nowadays who could take a leaf out of Jamie's book.
For me he's a bit like Keegan, who was never particularly blessed with a God-given talent, but became the player he was through a good engine, sheer hard work and a will to win.
