Rumour has it that QPR are considering an offer of a swap+money for Hoilett involving Jamie Mackie. He's a player I've liked for some time and I think it would be a mistake for Rangers to let him go. Anyone else think he might be worth a bid? He's industrious but has quality and can play in a variety of positions. He's proved he can cut it in the top flight and is still quite young too at only 26. Thoughts?
 
He did well, certainly toward the tail end of the season. From what I saw of him last season he was one of the stand out players for them. Put 100% in every game.

Would I want him at Norwich? Possibly, maybe he could link up well with Holt and at least there would be a degree of certainty about his ability and consistency, something we still cannot say about Vaughan, Moro or Jacko.
 
It's a bit unfair for him at QPR having to compete with crap like DJ Campbell, Bothroyd, Cisse, Zamora and last season Macheda who were all supposed to be better than him but he seems like a good player.
 
He would be an alternative to what we have. Not a prolific scorer but handy in general play. I saw him at Argyle and thought he could be a Clive Mendonca. Not too brilliant early in his career but prolific later on. The injury two years ago may have done some lasting damage of course.
 
Mackies ****e you don't want him, he can barely walk.

Why would QPR consider that when Hoilett is out of contract?

Quite like Mackie though TBH he is a decent winger.
 
I'd be gutted to lose him but suspect it's just journalists putting 2 and 2 together to make 5. He played a lot under Hughes last season and signed a contract recently so would be surprised to see him go, especially to a Championship side. Worth £5m imho.

Honestly if Carlsberg made football club owners they would all be called Tony Fernandes.

Have you seen the new QPR branded plane! I'd love to see the look on some of your boards members faces if it turned up to take them on holiday. LOL

Are you sure you don't want Sean Ruel Fox Philips, he just scored in our 2nd 5-nil friendly win this week.

Think about it, if Snodgrass doesn't come off for you this is great alternative (snigger snigger)

Snodgrass by the way if you get him seems like a good bit of business for you.

I'd bid for him. I like him a lot. He reminds me of Bellamy but younger. works his socks off, and scores goal. Would have thought he's fit right in for us!
