Norwich fan here, just wondering what you Everton fans think of James Vaughan? I saw him at the home game against crystal palace and he looked good, but do you think he can cut it in the Premier League?

Yeah, he's good but reckless with his body.
He's done some idiotic challenges that have left him croc, no-one but himself to blame for those.

The lad would happily charge through a brick wall if he thought it would get him a shooting chance. Unfortunately, while that passion to play is admirable, it's a pretty good way of ending up on the treatment table. I dont know if its true or not but I read somewhere that he'd taken to paying his own medical costs, going to the US etc to see specialists, because the club had spent so much trying to put him back together.
Hate saying it because if there was one player we wanted to see make it, just for his sheer effort and commitment, it'd be Vaughan, but, he's had a lot of chances and its just not really happened. There is a school of thought that says he never got a long enough run in the first team to really prove what he could do. Maybe, if he gets that with you guys, he'll prove that theory. I'd be made up for the lad if he does. You just have to keep him away from the brick walls!.

Righty ho, could this be seen as commitment? Because as long as he's committed I'm sure Lambert will sort him out, and he might get some tips off Grant Holt, bulk himself up maybe?
Its either commitment or he's as mad as a box of badgers - there is evidence for both. He puts himself in harms way for the cause with absolute conviction that much you can definitely say for the lad. I'd be astounded if he gives Norwich any less commitment than he has us or anyone else he's played for. Thats usually where his problems start though!.
It's not that he lacks a physique, he looks solid enough. However, there's only so much punishment you can take before you break.
He's a great signing for you, and as I live in Norwich, I'll be popping over to Carrow Rd as often as I can this season. I hope to see him bang a few in for you, except when you play us!
Knows how to find the back of the net, I would say he was the most natural goal scorer at the club. Sure he will get you 10+ league goals if given a good run of games.
