Hi guys, i have been on this board a few times and i like the banter.

I told you Demba Ba would turn things round, he is a class striker and he is finally getting recognized.

Anyway i hear you guys are after James Tomkins. The guy is quality and i have no doubts he will play for England in the future. By far the best centre back in the Championship.

Ive heard you offered 4m for him, that wouldnt get his left foot!
 
He's pretty decent on FM12, and he cost 4 million for me on that too <whistle>
 
I don't rate him and wouldn't want the club to pay £4m for all of him, let alone just one foot.

Hopefully just media ****e.
 
I dont think we'll get him unless he wants to leave, the West Ham board are fairly ambitious and havent sold a player unless he wanted to go like Parker.

Potential, more than anything. To be honest I wouldn't feel comfortable sticking him straight in the squad, and we need a CB who can just come straight in.
 
Don't know enough about him, however I listen to the fans of clubs when talking about the players they watch week in week out. Doubt we would pay more than 4 million for a players of his age and I suspect we can get a cheaper option elsewhere.
 
He'll never be at Colo's level, not many are, but I'm sure he'd look accomplished along side him and is good cover for Saylor.
 
Tomkins is no better than Williamson. I'd rather get someone better.
