Just seen that he's been forced to retire because of a serious heart condition, only 26 & promising england batsman & good one day player, i wish him all the best & hope his surgery goes well.
Sad from his sporting career perspective but so much better to find out now rather than collapse on the pitch or whilst driving etc.....He's young enough to carve out another career with his 2nd chance......Good Luck to him.
He's very lucky, often these defects aren't diagnosed until after sudden death. A similar problem like Fabrice Muamba. Good luck to him...
Sorry to read this. Like others though, to my generation, James Taylor is rather a good musician from the States!
It must be absolutely devastating for Taylor. Such a shame for him. At least the problem was discovered early enough so that he can hopefully go on and live a long and fulfilling life. Unlike this poor young cricketer who was murdered in Trinidad ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36022324
Sorry, for moment l thought you meant the singer....... You've Got A Friend, Fire & Rain, etc. Anyway, main thing they've found it early. Good luck to him.
