Did well but come on lets be realistic........................................................... hes going to get 50 goals and the ballon d'or <diva>

Perch is a ****ing dreadful defender but he's actually a decent CM or DM.

You know, there's actually every chance that he isn't a utility man at all and isn't capable of all positions. Just because he has been labelled a utility player, and just because he was played at RB in his only previous club in the Championship, it doesn't mean he can do it at this level. He may simply be good enough in his natural position, which appears to be DM.

Well I think Perch has been solid for the last two games, I don't think he's gunna turn into the next Alonso or anything but he has done the job when he's came on. Iv'e been to both Brighton and Blackburn and have been impressed, hopefully we can let him settle in and hope that last season was just a blip for him.

We must remember how young he is. He's quick and athletic and will only grow learning his trade from Tiote and Cabaye.

I must say we have some brilliant backup for the central midfield position. I've noticed how much stronger it has become at this club since Pardew, and in particular Tiote, have been here.

I've become a Perch supporter ever since his game against Chelsea where he "destroyed" Drogba...I used to hate seeing him in the lineup in his first season where he started those games... But it seems that he has had time to settle down and is finally looking like the player who was a match for Jonas in our Championship season! Am very happy for him and hope he keeps his performances up!

He was great against Blackburn, was really impressed with him and I was actually pleased to see him on for Ben Arfa who did nothing at all.
