The British veterans of WW1 didn't die for our freedom, which was never really in danger at the time. The Great War was little more than a dick-measuring contest gone badly wrong. If anything, this makes the fallen's sacrifice more lamentable.

Those who died in WW2 were actually fighting for freedom, as the Nazis would have doubtless conquered Britain if they had been able to do so.

I was outside Bank station last week and saw a cool enamel poppy badge with a Spurs emblem inside I asked the dude at the stool if he had any other teams ? He did so I bought an Arsenal one for about 87p in smash from my pocket and gave it to my daughter ,she liked it .

I like the Welsh. I'd be sad to see them get independence but I'd support their right to be independent if they wanted it.

I don't like the Scots or the Irish, and I wish both Scotland and Northern Ireland got independence.
