    Kinda mate! If those civvy's were innocent. Not about to get into a political argument on if they were innocent or not. Boys in fatigues are understandably trying to protect the life of their own and themselves. Dont know if they were innocent or not, wasnt present, not educated enough in the particular situation.

    Still believe he should have worn it as a mark of respect, for military personnel and those who lost life on civvy street ( maybe you could say a personnel war? IDK) and for those who gave so graciously in the world wars. They didnt shoot any one in NI?

    You are right. That is why I am relying on the most comprehensive Inquiry in the history of the British Government. The legally entered judgement supports my assertion.

    The discussion is about James McClean not wearing a poppy. I have explained why you should respect his choice.

    There is no "if" about it. The Saville Inquiry is absolutely unambiguous. The Statement by David Cameron was entirely unambiguous. These killings were "unjustified and unjustifiable". The dogs in the street knew they were innocent.

    If you lie down in a bed of nettles, you don't ask which one stung you. The British military machine killed 14 innocent civilians on that day in Derry. James McClean declined to support a charity that raises money for the people that committed those killings.

    It really is that simple and I cannot believe that people cannot accept that choice.
