I think DD secretly loves Chester, and is having a mental breakdown and can't get over losing him. Bet he has a shrine about him at home anarl.
I wouldnt have Brady back in a million years. He's a good player but all he'll do is stall Robertson or Robertson will stall him - they're about the same level. Robertson should be first choice with an obvious back-up.
Chester last season didn't for me play to the level of previous seasons. Occasional poor distribution and got turned over way too often. His great positional sense usually made up for his mistakes, but he seems to have been found out at West Brom. So as premature as talk of the PL is, to answer the question would I want him back, then no thanks
I was thinking more a slightly past it experienced type who is prone to injury but wont get injured much cos he's only back-up. Basically exactly like Taylor is for the right.
That's kinda what I was referring to when I said 'another backup' in my original post on this thread.
Well atleast one person on here was paying attention last season, for the rest who are too far up Chester arse to see what was really going on, let me assure you, he was ****e.
I've just been looking at his previous posts, and they switch from "I'm boycotting" to "I went to every game" constantly.
We did have far too many players last season, as shown by the fact we shipped shedloads, added a few and we've still got an embarrassment of riches. I wonder if we get promoted Bruce will reconsider and add fewer but better numbers? At the minute I can only really think of left back and up front where we need 'numbers'. I know we have the Norwegian lad to come in but Abel and Toothpaste clearly need some respite at the mo.
Townsend's not going to play for us again, he'll probably have been told to start looking for a new club already, I've no idea why we gave him a new deal.
Chezzy never pushed for a move, a big offer came in and we accepted it, he's done absolutely bugger all wrong.
As stated before the quality of our youngsters is dire. I can't really imagine anyone breaking through and making an impact over the next few years
I think the players we've bought to jump start the academy have every chance of making the first team, Luer already has.
