As i have proven i am an ITK now. I have proven in the past about my Hull links and i told everyone 1 month before that we was after Zak Whitbread Well my sources have told me tonight that James Chester has held talks today with Nigel Pearson. They was spotted having a cup of coffee at Morrison's before moving onto the cinema de lux at the highcross at they watched the new batman film before getting a cheeky nandos. After the meeting they had talks and Chester revealed his demands to Nigel. He asked for 10K a week and Nigel said he isnt that good. He offered him 4K a week and said he will be very decent back up for St. Ledger but he might have trouble getting ahead of Cian Bolger and Tom Parkes. True story, the fee agreed was 450K which trigged a release clause in Chester contract. We was competing with MK Dons, Fleetwood, Leeds and Grimsby for the signing after they all trigged the clause The clause was any club that is a bigger club then Hull bids 450K automatically gets their bid accepted
Just like Koren clause it only became valid today. Just think Nigel knows all the clause in all the Hull players contracts. If he wanted to he could "leak" them to the newspapers and then everyone would know Maybe he did with Koren
Or maybe this 'Release clause' is actually weaker than what's being portrayed. Should Koren happen to have this clause, his heart must be at City considering he hasn't actually left yet. Pearson shouldn't have constantly played him out of position and maybe Roko would have thought twice about joining him again.
This, i dont think we have bid for him tbh, or hes decided not to come, either way fair play. We have a fairly big group of midfielders, although his experience would come in handy.
