What the England international who plays in the Premier League? Trust me if he was scouted by Brucey he wont get anywhere nears Vardy's achievements
**** Though i didn't expect Hull to do business with us tbh, even without Pearson, they are probably still bitter at the club. What fee? can't see anything on SSN
Thats not too bad then, big fee and his wages off the books, just a shame we didn't seem to show any interest.
... not sure we really need another centre back - Moore and Sesay are both looking to break into the first team picture and we still have Huth Mogan and zWasyl ... focus has to be CM..
It looks like Fuchs is going to be used in the back three also, so we have Wassa and Moore as back-up. It would have to take three injuries before we contemplate reverting to a back two.
£8m is a large fee, but we're going to have to be spending that if we're going to get some quality. Another one bites the dust, and the season's getting steadily closer...
You've just bid more than £8m for him... http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...-brom-s-bid-for-hull-city-s-chester-1-7381085
I'd be happy if this goes through. We might have existing options in central defence, but some of them aren't as young and quick as they were.
Were out bidding everyone but still end up with nothing atm @StringerSport: Am told #LCFC are trying to get Chester in but #WBA remain favourites
Rudkin et al do have their favourites don't they - we are going to get into FFP trouble if we keep paying over the odds for players.
You worry about the money thing don't you BigFox? ... think we need to put it into prespective .. we are debt free, full houses, part of a good expanding commercial brand, and ultimately controlled by a guy with a personal (not King Power) wealth of circa $2.6 billion ... I think the FFP police will not have us as a prime target ... our 'record' signing is still short of amounts paid by the likes of Palace, West Brom, Stoke and Norwich, none of whom (I understand) have more wealth and all with lower attendances ... not to mention the likes of Cardiff, Blackburn, Middlesbro, Fulham and Hull who are no longer in the Prem .. ... I'm more and more inclined to think that FFP is a myth ... if it isn't, QPR, given the amount of threatening soundbites constantly muttered, would now be plying their trade in the Ladies Home Counties Syncronized Knitting Reserve League ...
The only FFP issue that most Premier League clubs will ever have to concern themselves with is wages, there's a ceiling of £55m for most lower half clubs, which most clubs are already close to.
