What are we using as the definition of bottom feeder here ?

Is it just someone who isn't very good or is there something more. I always assumed it meant someone who shamelessly took advantage of a situation. On that basis I can understand classing Shola as BF, though I personally wouldn't agree. If that is the definition, though, I can't see how it applies to Obertan. I think Obertan tries so hard and wants to please so much he cries himself to sleep at night, bless his alien forehead.

In my opinion, Sammy's f***ing awful. The guys funny, but we don't need a mascot. I think he'd be good at league 1 level, and struggle further up.

The one thing he has in his locker is legs... The only thing separating him and Obertan, if we exclude sex appeal and the ability to bend spoons, is that Sammy's less of a wimp.

Shola was infinitely more talented than Sammy at the same age. I don't know what happened, injuries most likely, but anybody who doubts he had talent clearly missed the Championship season. He was a cut above that league, and showed it a couple of times from the bench in the premier league after... But he's firmly in the recession of his powers now.
