Samir Nasri has been left out of the French squad.

    Jagielka's not injured. He's had a call-up for Poland

Defoe is a bit of a shock inclusion!

He's called up 4 keepers! Why? Why isn't one of those places going to an outfield player?

I'm quite happy he's not in the squad for next week.

How the f**k do Smalling, Cleverley & Caulker get in there.

    And isn't Defoe injured?

And only 3 players who can play CB (or at least try to) out of a squad of 32. Very unbalanced.

Apart from the inclusions of Caulker, Smalling and Cleverley, and Davies not being included, I'm relatively happy with that squad.

He's essentially asking for people to abuse him.

    No Adam Johnson either.

That's ridiculous. No City players in there at all. Huddlestone and Davies should at least be in the squad. But he's gone for Caulker, who is the linchpin of the worst side in the league's central defence. What a tool Hodgson is.

I hope Barkley gets a start - time to find out if he can become a central cog for England.

I like Wilshere but his form can be in and out - and he hasn't got Barkley's physical presence. (Not that I'm ruling out starting both of them this summer.)

It's going to be a short WC campaign if they're included in the squad for Brazil.

Their won't be any debate with pundits nationally on how Cleverley and Smalling made it, they'll all say Caulker deserves a call up, but worst of all, nobody will even hint that Davies deserved a call up, he's been criminally underrated by everybody not of a Hull City persuasion, they all assume Huddlestone's been our best player, when he really hasn't.
