He doesn't score as much as Almiron, but his crosses into the box are much better.

It's good to have a selection headache really.

It reminds of me of the season we finished 5th under Pardew. We had a great starting 11 and then fringe players starting to play out of their skins as well.

This season, we'll hopefully build on it.

Almiron’s goal spell was always going to be a purple patch like Willock a couple of years ago in my mind, good to see very few players being slagged at the minute to be fair

I think Almiron can still score regular goals, he just wont repeat his maniac spell. He's still scored a few since the world cup break.

He works hard and can be a goal threat.

Murphy must be absolutely buzzing with how it's going for him at the minute. Well deserved as he's worked his socks off, remained patient and always puts the team 1st. He's really contributing to our successes right now.

As he rightly should be, buzzing for the lad! Love how he's pumped even when he's being subbed off and his ****-housery is absolute gold!

He's a bit up and down but thought he played very well Yesterday... better than Barnes who seems a bit selfish sometimes, but perhaps he's trying too hard to nail down a place?

Some excellent runs and crosses - a proper striker up top would have made more of these.

Timing of runs and decision making much improved too

We seem to get better value from Barnes as an impact sub at the moment
