That was the main disappointment, the way we were outplayed in midfield by average L1 teams. Towards the end I couldn't understand why JF-C was kept on the bench, and why Kanu was restricted to a cameo lasting seconds. Anderson also looked good in his brief cameo but we didn't see him again, and Elerewe disappeared after signing a pro contract, despite looking easily up to L1 standard. So I didn't have any faith in Jacko to give youth a chance, which is something he'll probably have to do at Wimbledon. We have some very talented kids coming up, and I accept the reality that in L1 we are a selling club, but I hope the new manager is a bit less cautious in this respect, even if it just means we get a better price for them eventually.

Does this translate as "Curbs falls out with TS" ?

Of course, on one forum anyway.

He's a good lad is Jacko.

Many of us feared this is how it would end if he was appointed as manager too soon.
I still don't think Sandgaard ever wanted him to be permanent manager this season.
    A lesson for TS perhaps.
Don't second guess your own judgment even in the face of fan pressure.

I doubt that JJ was sacked because Charlton finished 13th.
I rather think he was let go because he didn't fit into the way TS wants to run the Club.

Still think Sandgaard never wanted JJ as our permanent manager.
The kind of contract he got gave TS the option not to renew and he took that option, which he probably always intended to.
