It'll probably improve the team. Jackson is anonymous, never really gets into the action...

Sorry, I was channelling every match ratings thread this season. A massive loss IMO. From those reports, it looks like he might be out for the season.

I haven't seen Ephraim play, so it's Wagstaff for me.

Waggy for me. He can punch pass better than any other cafc player and works for Bwp.

Exactly my thoughts, the ultimate professional.
Remember what happened when Jackson went off injured last season and how the results changed dramatically, he modestly didn't think that was down to him. JJ - you've got me missing you.

This will be a massive test for us.

I agree that Evina is the best option there, is Ephraim even match fit?

I agree with you on both points.

The fact that Evina played the whole match against Spurs today, whereas Ephraim wasn't even on the bench, is a clear hint that Ephraim will start and Evina will do well to make the bench, which seems a shame. CP is obviously not concerned about Ephraim's match-fitness or he would have played at least a part of the game. Injury cannot be the explanation or CP would not have risked Evina.

I wonder if Evina is tired of waiting for Wiggins to lose form and is thinking about a move at New Year. I hope not, but he must have expected to at least make the match-day 16 when he signed and he is rarely doing that.

I really hope not, as a professional I'd hope he is seeing quite clearly how well Wiggins has performed and that he has to keep working hard to get a shot. Hope he sees that he is part of a winning squad and is part of it. Wiggins has been exceptional.

As for Jacko, I think a couple have made the point, but you could say his injury last season put all but a stop to our push. He is a key piece, no question. 8 goals this season and probably another 8 to 10 assists.

    Really don't go for the argument that our drop in form coincided with his injury last season, you could just as easily say it was;
    a) The sacking of Parky
    b) CP's appointment
    c) a new board
    d) winter kicking in
    e) the players being distracted by the new big screen
    f) a new years resolution to play a bit ****
    g) they were all being tapped up by Sheffield Wednesday

It will however, be a loss, as any injury is (unless its one to Gary Doherty), so hopefully morale is okay, confidence remains and whoever fills the void he leaves will be capable of gelling well.

I think it might be a good idea to send Evina out on loan.
