Now you are bringing back Memories.........Used to shout that as a nipper..........just to join in with the others shouting it. Didn't have a bloody clue who Charlie Wayman was. The goals he scored always seemed to be down the other end of the pitch so when he scored they would say well done Charlie. I actually met him I think it was in 1952. He came to our school to present some prizes.
Even we couldn't pull that one off.....or could we? We seem to have mesmerised them into believing that they want to be Saints model II. Jack needs to be given real game time for a year or two for his development.....always hard for a team to do. He still looks a prospective talent as a CB, but has the advantage of being flexible and able to play wide. He did a great job playing next to Maya when VVD was out last season...and has stepped in again, but I suspect we will be looking for another CB next season. His flexibility may help him then.
