He will be gone by September, the owners cannot see it we are worse than 2 seasons ago sorry i wish he could have succeeded , but we need new owners and fast or we are league 2 next season christ what is happening to our club ?
Positive about Ross ? Tell me where to start please .......... he's failed miserably for 8 month now, 50 year, worst football ever, don't you care about he club ? Hope he pulls it out the hat Saturday or he's fooked.
He hasn't really failed though, in terms of points and goals scored we were very unlucky not to go up automatically. I know it's an alien concept to you but let's try not to **** our boxers, and support the team.
The obvious must be alien to you, our points return and performances since January don't stack up to "not failed though" , do you not think so ?
Failed in some areas, yes. Replacing Maja with Grigg made every sense on paper but the goals didn't materialise. Failed miserably? Nah. Just you having one of your many wah wah tantrums, the points gathered would have been enough in a usual season. Go and stick your boxers in the wash hey.
I had a dream last night that we won with a Will Grigg penalty...…….. Get your money on that Does Will Grigg take penalties???
This is just it - you hear people saying "why didn't we replace Maja in January?" when we blatantly did but it didn't work - that's not Ross' fault unless people think he tells strikers to go out and not score goals! Points tally 80% of league 1 seasons would've seen us comfortably promoted. Even with those losses at the end! It was just an exceptional season last season.
His first for us was a penalty and he took it very well. Tried to get the ball from Gooch on Saturday too but Gooch had none of it!
I think he has a 100% record at Sunderland , 1. It seems we don't have a designated penalty taker, as Gooch stepped up on Saturday, maybe Grigg was injured, lost confidence or simply uninterested, who knows.
If he can't take us up this season he'll indisputably have failed because he's been well backed but last season was a tough ask with the club in disarray. It's disappointing to see people panicking and spreading negativity after one game but at least most homes have washing machines these days.
Grigg wanted it - but Gooch wouldn't let him - I was sat 20 yards from them when Gooch picked the ball up and Grigg came and asked him for it. McGeady is our designated penalty man I believe
