Too early to say on Rodders. He needs to shut up and step though, no doubt about that. If he does, he could come good for 2nd half of the season....
He's one of the ones who wants Connor to sign at any cost, so it's always going to be everybody elses fault but Connors. The poll shows the majority sit with the belief we should get shot or only give him what the club thinks he's worth which can't be much considering he's been so poor. You should see Connors Heat map of the last game to see just how lazy he was compared to his fellow attackers.
Remember where I sat Bri? Although I am willing to say things have changed. I do want to keep him as I truly do think he will become a very good striker. Everyone has different opinions but I would still like him here next season. A number of players go through bad patches (most TBH) and especiallky at his age - I'd like him here but on a contract that suits us
I know mate. I'm in the 'the club sticking to what they think he's worth category', but only just. He doesn't try hard enough/apply himself as much as he could. Shame.
I'd rather get a striker in who Gus and Congerton have selected themselves based on what they can bring to the system we play, instead of trying to work in other managers failures.
True, but Gus is persisting with him so there must be something he too sees in the lad. He had a good game vs Leicester by all accounts.
I'd be happy with that, to be honest. Rather he left though but on the whole I'd rather get rid of Jozy first.
Lets hope Rodwell and Conner step up second half of the season, it would be a huge bonus with Giacch, Alverez and Coates back fit. Think Jozy needs to move on however to let a new striker in.
