We have debated several young lads and whether they should have been given a chance here. Younger, Hawkes, Almomd etc. Diamond is the one for me who hasnt had the chances he deserves. Delighted he is still ours, and hope he gets his chance because in my opinion he is worth a lot of patience. Pace, finishing, awareness. He can be a player for us IMO.
Just haven’t seen that except for very rare glimpses. Certainly not enough to think he’ll make it any higher than league 1. (Always thought he’s good enough fir league 1 mind, even when he was here. Be very happy to be proved incorrect mind

Agree mate, it is why we are here, to share opinions. Probably my memory thinking it was you that liked Hawkes. Quality player, the best player I've seen in league 1 this season. His best position is a wingback, not sure how he would be as a fullback but very good as a wingback. Plays on as a LWB for them and has been their best player IMO - wish he had kept him as hes a top prospect

That's why I think wingback suits him best, 4 clubs have now used him there (us, Norwich, Peterborough and Plymouth) so reckon thats where will play going forward.
