It seems like Hobbsis coming to us, I think its a great move personally. And like others have said, shows how much respect players have for Pearson.
In my opinion he's the also the only real logical choice. Firstly, we have a rather settled back 4, and although left back is probably our weakest position at the back, Dawson isn't doing too bad. Because of that I doubt many PL clubs would let us take any of their players on loan, there are not guaranteed games with us. Also with it only being the loan window, we can't really pick up a gem from the league below ala Chester, because if they are any good there teams will not want to let them go. Thirdly because teams in the Championship are polarized fighting either relegation or promotion no one is going to let any good players go to their rivals. So Hobbs who sounds a lil unsettled at Leciester and surplus to requirements and has a good relationship with Nige, really is the only and best option.
Although like i've said left back is probably our weakest postions, an extra CB of Hobbs' quality would allow us to move Chester to LB if we needed cover.
Lastly, if we can't get Gerrard in on a perm, we'd have another target, who will have spent time at the club.

93 day rule means Hobbs will not sign till end of month or else he will miss the playoffs Why the rush? hes going no where else So have faith in our management "KEEP THE FAITH"
We're going up through the play offs this year so it will have to wait until you play Leeds.
And on to Hobbs. He is a good player low championship. But he does get found out far too easily and won't cut it in the premiership.
He gets bullied too easily and has next to no pace.
Therefore big strikers beat him to headers and small strikers beat him with pace and trickery.

I just love the quoting the form table at us. It's not that long since we were top of the form table. Next month someone else will be. That's the thing with form. It's temporary.
If we're going to argue with your style, you lost to Ipswich in December, Bristol City in November and drew with Preston last month. We beat all 3 of those so we're better than you!
