Tbf to Hobbs i don't know many defenders in the world who can successfully pull off 50 yard passes, some midfielders can't. Why do people judge him on something that isn't his job? If he has to do them passes it is the failure of the midfield for not making themselves available. I said this when we signed him that he was a quality player to be signed by Liverpool at 16 you have to have something about you.
I like Hobbsy, always have said he's captain material. He has a calm composure, like if he had many years of experience playing football.... and he's only 23!
