Don't bother , you are back to being the sole member of my ignore list.

I don't even consider Doveston or Andy Grays family jewels big enough bell ends to be on the list.

    Just you .

Hobbs won Leicester's Player of the Year Award two years ago as they finished 5th. How can he be a poor player? Players have purple patches, but not of 12 months.

Interesting how you think winning Player of the Year makes you a decent player. Very interesting.

The stats speak for themselves with Hobbs at City, sometimes it just doesn't work our for a player or manager at a certain club.

Not at all, my point is that it wasn't a case of him being "the best of a bad bunch" at Leicester was it. They finished in the Play-Offs. He was the best player over the course of 12 months at one of the best teams in the Division.

I couldn't agree more, and more than anything it's down to the playing styles of individuals and/or how they fit into the team. Again, you've misunderstood the point I was making, which is that to say "he's ****" is untrue.

He's not really played that many games for us Percy, maybe you should give him a bit more of a chance.

I absolutely ****ing hate it when centre backs get criticised for not being technically gifted on the ball. Hobbs, just like Gerrard before him, is good at defending and preventing the other team scoring, but also like Gerrard he gets that Dean Marney-style glint in his eye, suddenly forgets he's a tough tackling centre half and thinks he's Beckham, launches a massive pass across the diagonal length of the field and then remembers his true identity when it misses its target. I'd much rather have a defender like this who can DEFEND but not be so creative than one who is OK with the ball at his feet but can't challange, tackle, head, jump, or do those other important DEFENSIVE things.

People who are ask for creative centre halves are nearly as daft as the people who say "We just need a proven, 30-goal a season striker." Neither of those players exist in the Championship!

I think you might be missing Perry 's point .
I'd hazard a guess his reference to having to be a decent player may have something to do with the Ipswich player of the season .

Premierleaguertigers is right, Hobbs is a Championship player, half of the moaning numpties on here probably think we should have international class players playing for us in the Championship, maybe less moaning and bitching is the best way to support the club.

It's just Perry's opinion I have commented on recently and that won't be happening again anytime soon .

NFU i know where you are coming from, might go down the same route and start blocking some of the clueless crybabies on here who have no idea about football whatsoever. Fair enough the manager has got the tactics wrong the last few games and there are questions about motivation of the players but a lot of the tripe I've seen written on here about Hobbs is laughable.

For you information I have expressed my opinion on Hobbs and him
being made a scapegoat on a couple of other threads .

I take it you haven't read them or you wouldn't come out with such a comment ?

The thing is with some poster it's all negative, that's all they do.I, at least, try and give a balanced view point. I'm not deluded and think all is rosy at the moment and if someone is out of form or has a bad game then I say so.
Recent comments on Chester, Dudgeon and Gulasci prove this. What I don't do is moan every time a pass goes astray or call them ****e at every given opportunity.
I also slated the midfield after Saturday so I can't ever be accused of living in some sort of black an amber coloured dream world.
What I have also stated and will continue to do so is ,IMO ,we have the makings of a decent team and have decent management that with a more time will produce results.

It's the easiest thing in the world to just point out negatives all the time and gloat that you're right when someone makes a mistake

Some posters on here, I won't mention the P word, would moan if they supported Man Utd.

" De Gea looks dodgy and Berbatov's lazy.Phil Jones doesn't read the game well enough and is nowhere near as good as Rio.
Giggs is too old and Rooney can't perform on the big occasion, I also don't like his new hair do.Come to think of it Anderson has a dodgy barnet as well and Fergusons nose is too red ."

Moan, moan ****ING moan. It's all a bit too tedious.

At the end of the day if I don't like it I don't have to read it.

    Thank you ignore list.

I like this bit. It's easy for people to say that because we've lost a few games we must be ****. But clearly to anyone with a bit of common sense we are capable of a lot better than we have played recently, and I'm sure it will come together soon.
