On Feb 6 J Rod said he would be back soon, then he turned up in the swiss trip photos anybody got ab update on his progress?
 
Allegedly he's further away from fitness than him and his people would like you to think. In reality, he's had a few setbacks and is not likely to be the same player again.
 
We should get a nice fee for him considering his level of (proven) fitness and our initial outlay. We've paid the 7m completely now so anything at or around 15m would be a great deal for us in reality.
 
Is there still a new contract lying around for JRod or has Les Reed abseiled into his house to remove it. Once we know the answer to that, we will know how bad Jay is. Very sorry for him if it is a career finishing injury. :(

I would feel sorry, but also find it kind of funny. The way he and his advisors have kept on saying he was close to a return.
