If hoolahoops wants to go, same as the others - he can bugger off somewhere else I agree with DM, he was not exactly Mr consistent last season and certainly didn't capture the imagination too often, so once again, no problem in off loading him if he doesn't want to stay.
So long as we have next season, still with us, we will have more than a chance at survival: Ruddy R.Martin, R.Bennett, Ayala, Tierney E.Bennett, Hoolahan, Howson, Surman, Johnson, Fox, Pilkington Morison
Totally agree. The world of football is a cutthroat business these days! Lambert is not an ex player, a fan, NCFC were simply his employers. Villa is actually a fairly logical step. Yes they are in dire straits at the moment, but its a challenge and if he succeeds he is nailed on for a really big job. Villa are simply another stepping stone.
Mere rumour control from what I find (ie, nowt). Though if there is any more of this it must be a worrying sign that a contingent of your squad are somewhat carried away with one good prem’ season. The grass is always greener and all that, especially where the bank account is concerned.
I will agree it is hard to not leap to that conclusion, and if there are just one or two more departures (excluding Holt) then some serious questions need to be asked about what is really going on behind the scenes.
I think you've got a valid point there Jonah! How can anyone be paid a quarter of a million pounds per week to play two games of football a week? It is totally obscene!
I kind of hope this is true and fully agree with DM. He did well in League 1 / Championship but at times he's been out of his depth in the premiership. Yes occasionally he has a really good game, but more often than not he's been mediocre.
What do you mean though when you say you hope it is true? I hope it isn't true; last thing we need is any more players wanting out, the point I was making was that it won't be the end of the world if it is true.
To be fair Dave, if I had been waiting three years to have a really seriously good gloat I would be the same Perhaps would could just ignore Ipswich and use the Colchester board to throw buns?
