    Mick - understand that the restriction is necessary in the short term. No problem.

    In my experience (and after experiments on a forum I used to Admin) visitors tend not to sign up in the main if viewing is restricted to guests.

    That's one reason I have not signed up for other forums, for example. It's one of my pet hates TBH.

    Just my £0.02 worth.

    Hi Mick, any chance that you could put the word 'twat' in your swear filter, it doesn't bother me but theres a few from 606 that don't like swearing because they let their kids read among other reasons
