Had a choice of which team to support growing up. My mum tried like **** to get me to support Arsenal, took me to Highbury a lot. My dad did the same with the Bridge. I made my choice, and dont regret it. I can't.
Not any more, because I have a wife, two kids, a mortgage, and have quite bad illness. I used to go to half a dozen games a season when I was younger Watched Chelsea play the MK Dons in the FA cup season before last, what with it being down the road, and the Dons having a massive stadium that they never fill.
Ah. See I don't believe there is much of a 'choice' involved in supporting a football team. It's just something that just happens, or should imo, not a decision you make rationally using reasoning etc. More a feeling which is hard to explain and more emotional than anything. Maybe that's just me though.
