It only affects United "fans," who are particularly prone to the condition around transfer window time. The condition is fairly new, having only appeared since the retirement of Alex Ferguson, and United's demise as a football super-power. The symptoms are quite extreme, but mainly centre around an inability to force other clubs to sell their best players. Your prognosis looks bleak, I'm afraid.
