I hope that you can see my following comment as not being a personal thing against you.
I'm two years younger and may be my view is different, but perhaps the problem you have is that you are trying to find work. I gave up on that years ago and I make my own way in my working life. Please understand that this is just my view. At our age, we should not be looking for employment we should have the confidence to create our own income. I'm not talking about being the next Richard Branson but you should maybe look at this in a different light. I dont know perhaps its just me, but you may need to change your outlook, its not always bleak.

Thanks Mel, I don't see as personal. <cheers>

When I first left school I was lucky enough to get an apprenticeship at Shipham's down Hawthorne Ave, afer a while I made the first of many bad decisions, I left for another job. My friends were earning more than I was in just run of the mill jobs, going out most nights. I was a little naive at that time and thought I was doing the right thing. Jobs were aplenty in those days and then the redundancies started at various places I was working. I always managed to get another job but the jobs were often menial. In short, none of them gave me any training to make my own way, i've never had any specific training in any one industry, so I wouldn't even know how to begin.

I'm pleased you managed to do something because being out is soul destroying a lot of the time.

I do hate it when someone like that Cooper bloke ruin a thread. He set out to get everyone going and that is what happened. Idiots like him should just be ignored.

It looks like English can't be your mother tongue.

You said: “PeteSaxton is disguise”

I said: “That comment is lost on me. It doesn't even make sense.”

Then you say: "Does that suprise me"

You can't write grammatically and you can't spell. Maybe you should give up this English lark, it seems too difficult for you.

That's right. I think we spend more on cat and dog food than human food.

The supermarkets will tell you the most expensive canned food in the store per 100g is cat food.

See, I knew I had expensive tastes!

We only buy dry food for our cats now because it's healthier. We go online and get big boxes of it delivered.
