One of those interesting questions in life. Did we all lose interest in the FA Cup before or after ITV got the chance to make the competition over? Champions League? The only reason thye are successful in showing that is because of the quality of the teams that play in it. Think about it. When the channels show the same game simultaneously does anyone actually bother to watch ITV?
Col, my daughter mentioned this on Saturday evening and I thought it was some sort of spoof programme? I then subsequently heard on the radio that this 'diving' shown featured 5 'celebrity' (dont get me started on that) dives on a 90 min programme?? Is that for real? Thank God Borgen has started again on BBC4.
Always remember that Lorraine programme in the mornings after the 'breakfast news' she would always get some fat ugly bird on and do a 'make over'. After the bird would still look crap but Lorraine would say 'You look beautiful' (lying cow). The show would be complete with some stupid quiz to win a 'dream holiday' with a question that any idiot could answer all for a £1.50 text? The presenters were more plastic than a Chelsea fans and the whole thing needed to be scraped. I really couldn't believe that people watch that dross every day? Maybe i am getting old but listening to a good Radio 4 programme is much better than watching some ugly chav put on some 'make up' to try and disguise the fact that she is ugly?
Match of the Day Sundays after lunch at the Pub was all right if we were on, and we'd won! Sounds like ITV has gone down a bit since then....
