Yeah, but wouldn't any top striker? He's 29/30(?) and doesn't have many years left, he would want big wages and would cost a lot to buy, i think around £15 mil, high price but i don't think Fergie would like taking a big loss on him since he cost £30 mil

Yeah good point his wages would be akin to the olden days of fat freddy signings considering his age too. I still have a soft spot for the guy though, its probably his idol worship of Shearer that is doing it but if we could get a good deal for him I'd be all for it. I'd say he has at least 3 seasons of great football left in him, and if he can manage to evolve his gameplay like Shearer did then he could be reliable as hell.

 

Yes another up yours Newcastle well at least eventually they won't be able to afford any football coverage. At least then we will only have to put up with the chutney ferrets on sky steaming in to us.
