Hardly posts these days having declared he has lost interest, and the idea of him paying to join our 6,000 most loyal remaining fans in the snow yesterday I think we will have to remember this next season when we win 3 games in a row in League One - and Reamsy jumps on the bandwagon again. #notarealfan
If Reams has lost interest in Charlton that's his loss not ours. However, I feel I must point out that boycotting home games does not make a fan less loyal or disloyal. That's the kind of thing Duchatelet and his apologists want people to think. When I was still going to the Valley I had complete respect for fellow supporters who had decided to boycott, even though it was not my personal choice at the time. Now I am boycotting I have complete respect for fellow supporters (apologists aside) who still choose to attend, even though attending is now no longer my personal choice. Of course I would like the boycott to be ever more complete as it is at Blackpool. But each fan has to weigh up the issues in his or her own conscience. Those who do not wish to take that step, I can understand. I was one of them for a long time.

Thy claimed they just wanted to go to the Valley and watch the football, so they should be very pleased. If the completion of a take-over is announced on Monday the planned protests will obviously be called off. There will be celebrations instead and a surge of attendance for our remaining 3 home games. Thousands of fans returning home and cheering on the team again, perhaps even helping them to breath a last gasp of life into our efforts to reach 6th place. No more CARD, no more RD and his bizarre ways. If a few die-hard wums on ITTV decide to begin sniping at the new owners from day 1 then they'll only be embarrassing themselves again. If continuing pathetic efforts to save face matters more to them than embracing a chance for a better future for our Club, then they need to take a good look at themselves.

Pots and kettles come to mind. I don't like to hear about England fans getting drunk and behaving like yobs in a foreign city either. But I would not wish them to be attacked this summer by Russian hooligans, who are apparently above criticism because they are trained in paramilitary style camps and are therefore 'proper' hard men. Neither do I think our ex-CEO (however much I despise her) or a fanzine seller are fair game for similar treatment. Hey ho. Takes all sorts I suppose.
The Welshman doesn't like football violence since being floored by an 8 year old girl at the Valley you can understand it.

Heather McKinlay calling Reams out for racism on CL. Not for the first time the daft old dear is wrong. It’s perfectly possible to slate Powell for his managerial ability without the CL wallies having to resort to the race card. Some of the Powell worship on that thread is excruciating. I absolve @baraettmattesvensson as he is blatantly WUM’ing.
