Was just going to comment on that plym but see you beat me to it with the Gutter Press. Reasons why I don't even bother to buy a paper anymore. Full of celebrity crap and included in that is football and headlines you cringe at. I think on this one along with what else is going on in the news at the moment the Sun has shot itself in the other foot this time. They really are appaulling.

Fletcher for England.. With the squad we have to chose from Jesus would be pushed to get us to the semi final. The only vaguely decent striker we have banned, all the rest either injured, sat on the bench, playing reserves or just crap. Average or ancient midfield and central defence.... but we do have a top class keeper in Hart. So Fletch has the bonus of a good keeper compared to what he had this season drop Hodgy and let the Welshy bore us into the final.
Seriously though I would like to see us say stuff this one, bring in some inexperienced younger players and maybe get a team to have a shot at the next WC. Gerrard, Lampard, Rio, Terry have had there chance now its time to let them out to graze.

If only mexijan, if only. Bet they won't though and it will be the same old crew as the last time. The problem with the England job is that the Newspapers never ever give the Manager a chance to build and get some poor results along the way to achieve that. Win win win is all they ever expect and build the chances up long before we get to kick a ball. Other nations have gone back to the drawing board and started from scratch but our Manager is never allowed to do that.
