Marvelous weekend for the two biggest local football Derbies on earth to demonstrate/market the joys of our beloved sport. Failure: Two 0-0 draws. When's the next super-bowl ? Or Celtic vs Rangers ?
As Hillsborough doesn't hold 51,630 who knows? The police there have the same sort of attitudes as our lot. Insist on a wide area of segregation and restrict ticket sales. They only relented and allowed tickets to be sold in the lower tier of Leppings Lane at the last minute. They wanted to leave it empty despite not allowing all the tickets in the upper tier to be sold either.
At least the two shirts are from the same city. Unlike that one worn by the daft bint from Hull that time.
Im 55 years old. I have a high dislike for Sheffield Utd. Anyone around my age will fully understand.
I am 68 and dislike Wednesday more than The Blunts. None quite compare to Leeds though. This is more to do with the fans than the clubs. What pushes Leeds in front is they have ****ers from all over supporting them. At least you don't see loads of Hull and East Yorkshire Owls and Blades walking about in Hull who also support FC and Rovers and are happy to see their local football club lose.
To what? I asked a rhetorical question not requiring a response. By way of reply, you also posted a rhetorical question, albeit difficult to understand because of missing punctuation.
How? They are still allowing areas to get overcrowded? They aren't allowing the capacity of a. All seater stadium to be reached nowadays.
Current Swillsborough capacity 39,372 (allegedly) So a long way from full. Perhaps the mental prices now being charged there have had an impact. Although the prices charged at Wembley were higher (titter)
One of my early memories as a youth was when City beat Sheff U at fer ark back in the late seventies. Edwards scored at the south stand end and everyone went ****ing daft silencing the Kempton which was full of Blunts. It kicked off down Boothferry road near fiveways as thats were the old man use to park up in those days.
