Despite what Branston says I think the penalty was weak, very weak, and Plymouth were lucky to get it. There was no intent to bring the Plymouth player down, there was no challenge, it was simply a case of the Plymouth player brushing legs with the Pompey player and falling over. 9 times out of 10 that would never have been given - as was proven later in the half when Holmes went down in a similar incident at the other end of the pitch.
That would still leave us with only one up front and no cutting edge. If we make any changes we need to bring on someone to support Storey in attack.
Honestly, I'm not sure if Whatmough has been in the game a lot or whether I'm just noticing him more because of his hair.
Plymouth's cutting edge seems to have dulled a bit, but they can afford that with the three goal cushion.
We could push Wallace and Holmes forward more to support our central striker, couldn't we ? Just an observation............
