The prem board is good for that.

In a very short space of time I have become the number 1 target of hate from the mopes, pooves, *****s and various millennials.

I keep getting banned from the Guardian comments page.

Would be handy if you were employed as a fisherman.

Well, I might go to try and catch some roach in the river. If I get the bug, who knows, buy a boat with a big net and head out to sea?

I’ve laid six paving slabs, just sitting on sand to keep them level (ish). As I’m not planning to live in it, I hadn’t really considered a DPC. Will treat the wood to stop it rotting, obviously.

    For a proper job:

Put trusses on, then purlins over the trusses

Predrill holes in the corrugated sheets (so they screw into purlins) and use polycarbonate washers to help seal against leaks.

If it's a double sided roof don't forget to add a ridge cap

Hmmm. If you want to to last you really should have put in a base, slabs will do at a pinch but make sure you have a damp course or you'll rot the shed from the bottom up.

Plastic sheeting nailed to the underside of the base? There’s no stanchions or anything securing it to the ground, the weight inside will hold it down.

It’s a tool shed on the allotment, Doesn’t have to look like much. Gonna rain today so I won’t get much done anyway
