Yes that is the one bright note about SAFC at the moment. All kudos to Bruce for being able to identify in training that Westwood is a far better keeper whilst also having the balls to drop Mignolet. Erm, hold on a moment, thats not how Westwood was given his opportunity! Oh well was worth a try.
Good opening post Syd. I would venture to suggest that Turner may have been man of the match. Although if you think about it, for a home game against poor opposition for a defender to be mom says it all. I have my doubts about Catts but he OK yesterday and did not deserve the the booking he got. But as many have said to play two defensive CMs borders on perversity compounded by playing Sess out of position, RICO is better there for heavens sake. Also other posters have picked up that Bendtner looked fed up and all he did was hide on the wing. We are stuck with Bruce for a while yet but hopefully even Short must be closer to pulling the trigger after yesterday's performance. We have to believe that either Ji or Ryan will start next week. I just have a nasty feeling that we are in the throws of turgid delegation battle.
Catts showed that he can keep his head i think he whould have been off though if Dickson didnt get a yellow (and should have been off ) because it ment neither could affored bad tackles
