Hello all,

After my first race win today (based on pedigree) I thought I would nominate some tomorrow.

2.30 Telwaar - Haafhd won on soft, half brother won on soft (and another won at Southwell) and I think its got stamina in abundance.

3.05 Poet - Pivotal a soft ground influence, lots of soft ground form and stays very well. Overpriced.

3.45 Bewitched - NAP - ground looks absolutely ideal, form on soft likes stiff trip and she has form in the book.

4.25 Burning Thread - Captain Rio, soft ground influence, listed winner who should enjoy this ground. Should be spot on for the race and drawn middle. 50/1

5.00 Ile De Re - Linamix is a soft ground influence, Head doesn't send across no hopers and masses of soft ground form. 20/1

5.35 Deutschland - 5th best on handicap, but lots of soft/heavy ground form. Running in good races over obstacles and could be staying on when everything else has fallen into a hole. Could end up being as fast as the Eider Chase!!<laugh>

Well done on Channon's winner today Nass. His son was interviewed before the race and seemed very confident.

Star Witness could be the bet of the day for me tomorrow. If he does not hang like he did the other day he should be hard to beat.

The ground is meant to dry out tonight! but rain again tomorrow heavlily!

Star witness had raced on good to soft ground, and has not done to bad, im not sure whether to go for him or Bewitched who will love the ground!!

We are predominantly show jumpers but we have one thoroughbred (grand daughter of Dancing Brave) and the avatar is an arab stallion that my daughter produced for a client to be Champion of Normandie 2010 and 2011. We are going to challenge for Champion of France this year (he has a free invitation).

If you would like to see some photos of him use the link below. You may want to mute it as you have already heard the song.

Fantastic horse- absolotely stunning he is. One of my favourite breeds arabs are, just the way they present themselves such elegance from their dish to thier tails

I mainly do XC abit of show jumping not to a that a high standard as it is very competitive, but they are fairly competitive in the county!

Incidentally how do put up an avatar?

The navigation is not obvious and I have made the comment (amongst others) to the administrator (Mick).

Great stuff Ron, your daughter has a fine voice and Malik is just magnificent. Have sent clip to my own daughter who takes a critical university examination on Monday and needs cheering-up. She should do OK, but of course we're all on tenterhooks, as is she, of course!
