Hockawankery was a wrong appointment from day one, you may be right about the supporters not giving other managers enough time and I would concede hock didn't even get a one week honeymoon, but he was such a bad and random selection he didn't deserve one. It was a bit like the bloke who conned Souness by pretending the be George Weirs cousin and got a playing contract unseen. Hock must have told MC he was something he wasn't.
If MC just gives someone we can see any positives in we will clutch at them as if they were straws.
