Just to be pedantic I shall point out that I do want to be prenickety. I like being pernickety. And a ****.

If you like being pernickety why would you want to be prenickety? And what is prenickety exactly?
As for being a ****, well you did support Rangers so that goes without saying![]()

Didactic diddy

Nit Picking nob
Punctilious prig

can you summarise what he said rl? Reading his pish just gets my blood pressure up
In summary: Rangers sources insist that a bid from Brian Kennedy remains on the table; growing concern over Green’s business plan; fans remain unconvinced by the Yorkshireman; cash-flow problems would be solved if Green accepts Kennedy’s offer; angry fans are asking why Green and (chairman) Murray have not been defending the club against sanctions.
There follows some passive-aggressive threats as to why the SPL should stop pushing for sanctions or the stripping of titles – everyone will die, apparently. (I think I’ve maybe heard this before.)
Further sanctions will force Rangers to become dangerously successful and rich in the SFL from where they will launch an irresistible surge towards European football as the SFA and world governing bodies see the force of their argument, both legal and moral, and allow SFL clubs access to the Champions League and European variants thereof – in preference to the remaining SPL teams, we must imagine. Promotion to the SPL will be forbidden and the SFL will become the stronger and richer of the two leagues. (We are forced to assume that SFL teams are no longer diddy teams without any ambition who should shut the **** up and know their place, as Traynor elegantly hinted less than two weeks ago.)
The crumbling SPL would be reduced to Celtic and seven or eight shambling, impoverished others and would hold even less appeal (than presently) to the TV companies, whereas the SFL would have Rangers and a host of clubs who could benefit from TV deals (“because they now have one of the big two in their pack”.
This heavenly unfolding of events, untouched by mere earthly concerns of logic, say, or the starkness of reality, is predicated upon the small matter of Rangers surviving, of course, which Jim generously acknowledges - perhaps overlooking the fact that the club has already been killed, to all intents and purposes, by ruthlessly greedy bastards who should never have been anywhere near a football club to begin with. The kind of people Jim championed, in fact, much to his eternal discredit and needlessly perpetuated trauma of those fans who called Ibrox home. But still.
As summaries go, I’ll concede that this is somewhat on the long side, sorry.
And you, Sir, are correct.

Incidentally Psycho, did you happen to have a listen to Jabba's recent Podcast which I linked yesterday?
If not I suggest you do, it is literally unbeliveable.
Thanks though Psycho, it may have been a bit on the long side but I find JT's logic mind bending and reading his article in the third person makes it less taxing on the old grey matter.
Your use of literary hyperbole is also used to good effect![]()
That's pretty much it. Except it misses out the bit that it's been our plan all along to bring down Scottish football and resurrect it as the RFA (Rangers Football Association). But maybe I've said to much.
No worries. (And thanks!)
Quiet, Gambol. Don't let Timmy in on our plans. (I'm doing a sterling job of pulling the wool over their eyes, to be fair. I'm going to kill them when they least expect it. But shhh.....)
