What are these "injuries" you speak of? as far as i know he has had one slight groin strain in more than 90 games. You could be right about the embarrassing bit though, we couldn`t even beat Chelsea ffs.
You might be right with your assessment Beluga, but a couple of questions for you. This "new" philosophy /system. Care to expand on just what it is ?? Seems just like the "old" philosophy/system to me, everyone must attack and defend and "work" hard. Same old same old. Mourinho marks his arrival by again downgrading a star a la Ballotelli, Cassilas, Joe Cole and now Mata.It was almost David Luiz, but Mata got the gong. Nothing new there either. Anyone the fans love is seen as a potential threat to the "great ones" popularity, and needs to be marginalised. Oscar might be a good player, but Mata scores and sets up more goals. I'll take that over Oscars' higher plateau anyday. Finally, how does Mata "prove" himself productive, if the Coach doesn't allow him to play in the manner that gives him his productivity ??? In fact doesn't allow him to play at all in the top team. And if Jose succeeds, will Mata then play like Hazard now ????? A shadow of the old player thanks to Joses makeover of him into a productive player. I don't see anything new from Jose, just the same methodology as always. Except this time he's alienating the very fans who screamed for his return. Wish he'd realise he doesn't need to prove he's the top wally, he already is. Just get the team working to it's potential and adapt his thinking to use our skills, not squash them. Its about the team Jose, not about you.
i stopped cheering for all our high profile signings, since Nando happened! always on the fence with Jose's second coming.. how in the freaking world can Jose improve on his first term - no way no chance... and how can we possibly ask Jose not to be Jose?
