that is fair comment and i don't think we were comparing you to qpr. we are merely saying that you don't have to have a wealthy backer to have a successful team
I totally agree with you and several of you're academy players have gone on to become VERY successful, but as 'Supers' states in his post above, you've spent quite heavily since winning promotion to the EPL. Having said that, at least you've bought players who have a future and not done what a certain other team has done!!!
I remember there being a beeb article, but couldn't find it when I was curious to see where the money had gone. The grauniad was the only place I could find a figure, it was a slightly older figure from mid September tho, so it may have been revised upwards since. I'm with supers in that I don't think QPR is a fair comparison at all for you guys, for a start your starting XI don't all qualify for a heating allowance.
